Cheap College Textbooks Online
Back in the day, when I was in college, we all went to the bookstore and bought our textbooks. It was just that simple. The textbook prices (much like the tuition prices) were simply what we had to pay. These days, however, there are many options.
Teaching part-time at a local college now, I know that many of my students buy and rent their books on-line, and they save a huge amount of money. Sometimes more than 50% of the college bookstore prices. One student told me just last week, “Buying at textbooks at the bookstore is a thing of the past.”
You have *got* to be careful, though — you really need to be sure you get the exact book that your Professor is using, otherwise the financial savings could be easily outweighed by the confusion you have when you’re doing the wrong homework problems with the wrong edition of the text book!! (I’ve seen this happen more than once.)
So, do your homework, and by that I really mean your “research.”
Go to the bookstore and get every bit of information about the exact textbooks you need – then check out some of the on-line options within this article and on this site.
See how much better you can do.
There are even options to buy books, electronically, a chapter at a time – so if you’re not sure you’re going to stick with an Honors Chemistry class, you can try out the first week (with one chapter) and consider your options further once you *are* sure.
In fact, when the semester ends, if you’ve chosen to buy your textbooks (from the bookstore – or elsewhere), you can even sell them to some of these vendors, so there are really a number of financial opportunities for us all now here.
Be smart. Save Money. And study Hard.
And parties every once in a while? Well sure… a little of that too!

Online college textbook sites are really the trend now. You can easily compare their textbook prices and choose the one with the best offer. In my opinion, textbook renting and buy used textbooks are great ways to save pocket money ๐
